Internship Program


The Argosy Foundation is pleased to offer internships to creative, bright undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work in Argosy's office in downtown Milwaukee.

Intern: Milwaukee, WI

Job Summary:
Interns will work with Argosy staff to conduct research on projects and topics that are of interest to Argosy trustees. The research will involve locating and evaluating information on the Internet, reading and summarizing journal articles and books, data analysis, organizing information, and writing reports. Interns will also perform administrative tasks. Interns who work during the school year are expected to work part-time (10-20 hours per week) and summer interns are expected to work full-time. Interns are paid an hourly wage based on their education and experience.
 
Qualifications:
Undergraduate and graduate students of any major may apply. Candidates should demonstrate initiative, perseverance, discretion, interest in public service, a sense of humor and teamwork. Coursework in statistics and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred, but not required.

Application Deadlines:
Applications for spring internships should be sent by December 1. Applications for summer internships should be sent by April 15. Applications for fall internships should be sent by September 1.
