Argosy supports diverse programs that engage in research, advocacy and action on behalf of the environment both locally and nationally. Some programs educate the public about local environmental resources, the threats to them and steps that can be taken to save them. Others promote research and dissemination of new technologies or best practices in environmental sustainability and conservation. Argosy invests in initiatives that champion environmentally friendly practices, such as sustainable design and the use of new technologies, within organizations. We support collaborations among environmental advocacy groups and help them develop their infrastructures so they can more efficiently and effectively pursue their missions.
