Elizabeth Lokey, 2006 Argosy/RMI Fellow

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Lokey is the 2006 Argosy/RMI Whole Systems Fellow.

The Argosy Foundation and Rocky Mountain Institute's Whole Systems Fellowship Award Program celebrates the achievement and leadership of a student in Colorado who is committed to stewarding the earth and its resources.

Rocky Mountain Institute hopes to help the recipient further realize his or her leadership potential with an internship, where the student¹s skills at integrating multiple disciplines will be rewarded and well-utilized. Because there are numerous activities at RMI that make the organization able to succeed, students can come from a variety of academic backgrounds.

The objectives of the Fellowship are:

  • To bring pride and opportunity to students in the state of Colorado

  • To celebrate students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership

  • To reward students who have inspired others by offering a career-building opportunity at Rocky Mountain Institute

  • To recognize the importance of integrating multiple disciplines in finding solutions to environmental challenges by showcasing the leadership and accomplishments of an outstanding student whose work already exemplifies such integration

  • To inspire action and leadership among Colorado residents and other students by showcasing the accomplishments of the Argosy Fellow
